God’s Architect: Pugin and the Building of Romantic Britain- Episode 2 of The Biography Podcast

So, for those of you who didn’t know, for many years I produced and hosted podcasts for many University Presses, and I am still currently producing the show for The MIT Press. Yale University Press was my first client and I still have a soft spot in my heart for their titles. I had never heard of Augustus Pugin, even though I had studied Modern British History and like the arts, so I was all over this. Pugin was a brilliant student of theater and his design for the Houses of Parliament in Westminster is one of the great achievements in public architecture.
